The Military Engineering Service is an arm of the Pakistan Army tasked with providing engineering services to all other branches of the military. With the Strategic Partnership Agreement signed between the Government of Pakistan and the Government of Japan on 29th September 2016, there is a need for qualified and skilled engineers to work on various projects. Military Engineers Services (MES), established under Ministry of Defense Production, provide engineering services to meet the needs of Armed Forces with regard to buildings and installations, communications, transportation infrastructure, etc.
To be eligible for MES jobs as an engineer you must have: – Masters Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or Electrical/ Electronics engineering or Mechanical engineering from a recognized university; – Minimum of 2 years experience as a design engineer with at least one year experience working on military projects; – Minimum age limit is 25 years old; and – Must be Pakistani citizen.
Experience Requirements
The job requires candidates to have a valid diploma, degree or academic certificate from a recognised university. To qualify for the job, candidates should also be able to speak and write English fluently. A valid driving licence is also required for this position. Candidates should be willing to work in any city or town of Pakistan and should not be allergic to any type of insect.
Eligibility Criteria

- Must be at least 18 years of age by the date of joining.
- Must have completed matriculation or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with a minimum score of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Should not have been awarded a contract from MES earlier than three years back.
- The candidates should not be serving on contract with MES, through any other means, including as an ex-serviceman.
